This collection translates the language and tools of construction into a metaphor for self-development. The works acknowledge that life is not a finished product but an ongoing project.

These works are a figurative abstraction series on paper, stemming from my June Cape Town residency. They translate sightings of the city’s architecture and local masks into essential, dynamic forms. The pieces are a visual synthesis, capturing the structural and cultural rhythm of the city.

This series explores the cost of choice and the internal battle we face when different ideas or opportunities compete for our attention. The title, Malwlevanda, is a Tshivenda word for twins, alluding to the idea that both paths can be important and viable.
